Something Old…Something New for GALA 2007!
We have some surprises in store for you with this year’s OPAL GALA! First of all, a GALA first...we are moving out of June and stretching our pride into July! Friday, July 13, to be exact, so save the date and tell your friends and guests. Not only that but we are heading back to the Elmcrest Banquets by Biancalana in nearby Elmwood Park! And last but not least, we are welcoming back the popular comedienne Georgia Ragsdale to emcee this year’s event! Georgia was a big hit in 2003, and we are thrilled to have her back.
Our small but energetic committee, led by my co-chair Dan Salotti and myself, is hard at work planning this year’s GALA. As you can see, we are well on our way, but we need your time and talent to help make this the best party of the year. It’s never too late to volunteer to be a part of this sensational event.
