“Ease on Down the Road” to “The Wiz”
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The Programming Committee invites you to join OPALGA friends for a venture into the city to catch a production of “The Wiz” presented by the White Horse Theater Company. The performance will take place on Saturday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago.
“The Wiz,” winner of seven Tony awards, is based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, with book by William F. Brown and music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls.
Tickets are $15 and the theater offers valet parking and a full bar for your convenience and enjoyment. So, whether you are a friend of Dorothy’s or just can’t miss a good musical, grab your partner, family, and friends and “ease on down the road” for a night out.
