Women Like Me
Women Like Me is a supportive community group for women currently in a heterosexual marriage, separated or divorced who are lesbian, bisexual or questioning their sexual orientation, and women coming out later in life. The group meets at The OPALGA Center on the fourth Sunday of each month from 2:00-4:00 P.M. The group is always free and confidential. Directions to The OPALGA Center
From North: Take the PACE Harlem Avenue Bus south to Garfield Street (first street south of the I-290 overpass) and walk east for about 2 ½ blocks on the south side of the street; OR drive South on Harlem Avenue, cross over I-290 overpass and go left onto Garfield Street. We are 2 ½ blocks down on the south side of the street (on the right).
From South: Take the PACE Harlem Avenue Bus north to Garfield Street (first street south of the I-290 overpass - you'll see the Volvo Auto dealership on the north side of the street) and walk east for about 2 ½ blocks on the south side of the street; OR drive north on Harlem Avenue, turn right onto Garfield Avenue (2nd right after you cross Roosevelt Road). We are 2 ½ blocks down on the south side of the street (on the right).
From East: Take I-290 west to the Harlem Avenue Exit. Turn Left (south) on Harlem Avenue and take first left (will be heading east) at the light, Garfield Street; OR take Blue Line El west, get off at Harlem Avenue and walk south on Harlem Avenue to Garfield Street and turn left (will be heading east). We are 2 ½ blocks down on the south side of the street (on the right).
From West: Take I-290 east to the Harlem Avenue Exit. Turn Right on Harlem Avenue and take first left at light, Garfield Street. We are 2 ½ blocks down on the south side of the street (on the right).
